日股“奇迹时刻”!日经指数创1990年以来新高,波动率飙升,什么信号?
近期,日本股市表现亮眼,可谓是“奇迹时刻”,毕竟其曾被称为“全球最不受欢迎的资产类别”。
当地时间周五,日本股市继续上涨。日经225指数上涨1.2%,至30924.57点,创下1990年8月以来的盘中最高水平,而1990年8月,日本股市处于“泡沫”时代。
本周早些时候,东证指数也创下33年新高,今日涨幅一度高达0.6%,服务业公司和机械制造商的涨幅最大。
1、波动率飙升
就在日经225指数飙升至30多年来的高点,同时出现了一个不寻常的现象:波动率飙升。日经波动率指数(与CBOE VIX一样,基于期权价格)从一周前的15.78攀升至最高22.48。
摩根大通的衍生品策略师Masanari Takada说:“可能有许多投资者没有料到日本股市近期会涨这么多,现在正在买回看涨期权,日经指数最近的涨幅相当大,因此一些投资者可能也在买入看跌期权进行下行对冲。”
当市场下跌时,波动率指数往往上升最多,因为当价格下跌时,波动往往更大。日本股市的最新涨势表明,那些押注本周日经225指数上涨不超过30000点并在该水平卖出看涨期权的投资者现在正买入此类头寸。
彭博社汇编的数据显示,日经看涨期权仍有大量未平仓期权,行权价格为31000-33000,这表明未来可能会出现更多波动。
2、基本面改善+宽松货币环境+外资涌入
近期的日股上涨主要有几个因素:首先,日本股市的上涨得益于一系列强劲的企业业绩,宽松的货币政策,日元走软。周五,日元触及今年以来的最低点,截至发稿,美元兑日元报138.442。
其次,日本企业开始注重股东利益。日本东京证券交易所此前呼吁,股价低于账面价值的公司制定资本改善计划。
道尔顿投资的董事长Belita Ong表示,日本市场在很长一段时间内一直很便宜,这是有充分理由的,因为管理层不愿意与投资者分享利润。
高盛和麦格理集团的策略分析师表示,由于公司治理改革提振了估值,宽松的货币政策增加了顺风,日本股市牛市的理由是充分的。
摩根士丹利预计,受股本回报率改善和日元利好的推动,东证指数最终可能再攀升8%,达到2350点。
此外,巴菲特看好推动了外国投资者对日本股市的购买,从而导致其上涨。周四公布的交易所数据显示,外国投资者连续第六周净买入日本股票,在截至5月12日的一周内净买入7810亿日元(约合57亿美元)的股票和期货。
