Terms & Conditions

1. The promotion period is from on 16 December 2025 9:00 a.m. to 30 June 2026 18:00 p.m. (both dates inclusive).

2. This promotion is only available to Hong Kong residents holders who hold a valid Hong Kong identity document and aged 18 or above.

3. This promotion is only available to the following categorises of clients:
(a) Client that have opened any trading account with the Company on or after the promotion start date, also provided that the new client has not held or used any trading account with the Company within the six months prior to the promotion start date;
(b) Client who completed account registration and account opening with the Company also never deposited any funds into own trading account before the promotion start date;
(c) Clients whose account net asset value has been zero or negative for 180 consecutive days preceding and up to 10 December 2025.

4. During the promotion period, customers must deposit a single net deposit of HKD 10,000 or above into their uSMART account (Net Deposit = Cash Deposit + Value of Transferred-in Securities – Cash Withdrawal – Value of Transferred-out Securities) and successfully subscribe to any fund available on the uSMART Securities platform. The subscribed fund must be held for at least 30 days consecutively. Clients will be eligible for an additional 5% reward amount for the first 30 days.

5. Calculation method for the additional reward amount is as follows:
1) Assume client's the total fund subscription amount is T
2) Additional Reward Amount = T*5% 30/365 (Rounded to the nearest integer using standard roundign rules)Example: If a client subscribes to a fund with HKD 100,000, the additional reward amount will be HKD 100,000*5%*30/365 = HKD 410.9

6. Each client may receive the extra reward amount calculated based on a maximum fund subscription of HKD 100,000 (or USD 13,000 equivalent).

7. Interest calculation period: The interest accrual period for calculating the extra reward amount begins on the calendar day following both (1) completion of the deposit and (2) completion of the fund subscription, and lasts for 30 calendar days.

Example: If a customer deposits HKD 10,000 on 20 December and completes the fund subscription on the same day, the interest accrual period will begin on 21 December, for a duration of 30 calendar days.

8. Customers must meet the suitability requirement for the selected fund to be eligible for the subscription. Only the first fund subscription made during the promotion period is eligible for the reward calculation. During the Promotion Period, if client (i) cancels or withdraws the first subscription; or (ii) makes any additional fund subscriptions after the first subscription, the cancelled/withdrawn subscription amount and any subsequent additional subscription amount, will not be included in the calculation of the additional reward amount.

9. Clients must continuously hold the subscribed fund throughout the above 30-day holding period without any redemption in order to be eligible for the extra reward. After the 30-day period, the subscribed amount will no longer be entitled to the extra r The Company shall not be liable for any compensation should the fund is redeemed or altered due to fund-level arrangements (such as liquidation, mandatory redemption, etc.).

10. Reward Distribution Period: The additional reward amount will be distributed on 31 July 2026, after verification of eligible clients. Client must maintain an active and valid account at the time of reward

11. The fund returns arise solely from the actual performance of the fund. The extra reward amount is a promotional incentive provided by the Company and does not form part of the fund’s return, nor does it represent actual or expected performance of the fund. 

12. uSMART is not responsible for any delays, loss, errors, data corruption or undeliverable information arising from system failures, network issues, technical problems, or any force majeure event. No compensation will be provided should such incidents prevent customers from participating successfully in the promotion.

13. Offer is only applicable to trades placed through the uSMART HK APP. Other channels (including but not limited to phone or email orders) are not applicable.

14. uSmart Securities Limited (hereinafter referred to as “uSMART” or “the Company”) reserves the right to amend, suspend, or terminate the above offer or these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice. All matters are subject to the Company’s final interpretation. In case of any dispute, uSMART reserves the right of final decision, which shall be binding on all promotion participants.

15. In case of any termination of the customer's account due to suspected fraud, violation of any regulations or inappropriate behaviour, uSmart Securities Limited reserves the right to take any necessary legal action to recover any rewards that have been deposited or paid to the customer for this promotional plan and for any loss arising from such behavior.

17. If there is any inconsistency or ambiguity between the English version and the Chinese version, the Chinese version shall prevail.
