When Will Position Building Begin After Subscription? Can the Authorization Be Cancelled?
Our settlement schedule is as follows:
Hong Kong Stocks: Settlement takes place after market close, approximately 17:00 – 19:00 (HKT/Beijing Time).
US Stocks: Settlement takes place after market close, approximately 11:00 – 15:00 (HKT/Beijing Time).(In special circumstances such as IPOs, settlement may be delayed; actual times are subject to announcement by our Settlement Department.)
If you subscribe before settlement on Day T: Upon completion of settlement, the system will generate a position‑building order on T+1, which will be executed by the Investment Manager (IM) as appropriate.
If you subscribe after settlement on Day T: Upon completion of settlement on T+1, the system will generate a position‑building order on T+2.
Cancellation Policy:
Before position building: If the Investment Manager has not yet executed the order, you may contact Customer Service to request cancellation. Funds will be returned to your securities account via the original payment method.
After position building: Once the Investment Manager has executed the trade, the authorization cannot be cancelled. You may only apply for redemption after the lock‑up period expires.
